- We learned how fractions are a representation of division.
- We learned how fractions and decimals are different representations for the same amount (example: 1/2 = 0.5).
- We learned how to divide to change a fraction to a decimal.
- Then we extended our learning to change a fraction to a decimal and then to a percent.
- We learned how to divide large numbers and add a decimal instead of writing the remainder.
- We reviewed division vocabulary: dividend, divisor, quotient.
- We reviewed and practiced adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with decimals.
